We are starting off the year with more reasons to celebrate!

Zenfolio will collect and remit sales taxes for you.

We’re excited to announce that starting on January 17, 2023, Zenfolio will begin charging sales taxes on your behalf during the online checkout experience. Zenfolio will automatically apply sales tax to all applicable products and services based on the nature and locale of each transaction. Zenfolio will remit collected sales taxes to the appropriate tax authorities.

How it works.

The automated sales tax calculations are based on the type of transaction (for example, physical or digital product or service) and the applicable state, county, city or other locality. You can easily view all remitted sales tax transactions by generating a .csv report in Selling under Taxes.

Organize your blog content more effectively using categories and tagging.

Add categories to structure your blog.

When you are setting up your blog for the first time, it’s a good practice to categorize the content. Depending on your business niche, your categories will most likely focus on specific areas related to your shoot type. For example, if you’re a portrait photographer for couples and maternity, your categories will likely be maternity and portraits for couples. 

Use tags to make the reader experience better. 

Tags help your blog readers find specific content easily and faster. If your category is maternity, then you can add tags such as: outdoor maternity, tips on making maternity shots a success, how to print maternity photos, etc.


Schedule your client emails in advance.

If you’re a ProSuite subscriber, you can now schedule your client emails in advance. To create a scheduled email, head over to where you normally send a gallery email, and use the new schedule email button. Want to view or edit your scheduled emails? Click on the CRM icon and then click on the scheduled emails tab.


Customize coupon banner images.

Coupon banners are a great way to promote special offers or sales. You can now customize the look and feel of the coupon banners by using your own preferred imagery. This applies to both desktop and mobile banners.


Manage your order approvals with more flexibility.

Whether it’s digital, lab partner or self-fulfilled orders, you can choose the best way to manage your order approvals. For instance, you might want to retouch an image from a portrait order before it goes to the printer. In this case, you need to select Manual Approve for print lab products.

We also moved Order Approval under Price List Settings making it easier for you to apply the necessary level of approval for each Price List.
