How to Sell Your Photos Using the Featured Galleries Block

Hey, Robert was Zenfolio here and in this video, I’m going to show you how to sell your work through a featured galleries block.

To follow along with the video, you will need to have a price list already created. If you haven’t created one yet, I recommend clicking on the link in the top right corner of the screen and watching that video first.

Once you have a price list, you need to assign it to the galleries that you want to sell from. Navigate to the gallery, go to settings, then click on store and set the toggle to On. From the drop-down menu, choose the appropriate price list. Now you will need to repeat this process for each gallery that you wish to sell from.

Once all of the desired galleries have the store turned on, click on the website icon, then navigate to the page or section you wish to show the featured gallery block. Click the plus button, scroll to the content block section, and click on featured galleries. Click on Layout to change the style of the block. You can also change the title and the body text. If you need to link to a selling gallery, click on a placeholder then scroll down and change the link type to Gallery. Click select source to choose the gallery that you want to link to. Any gallery with a price list will have a red dollar sign next to it.

Once you’ve selected your layout, click Save. If it’s needed, you can adjust the thumbnail focal point. You can also change the gallery title and description. Now just repeat these steps for each gallery placeholder after you have updated all of the existing placeholders. You can add more galleries to the block by clicking the plus button. You can change the order that the galleries appear by dragging them up or down and you can even move the featured gallery block up or down the page by clicking on the arrows. Once everything looks good, click the publish button to make your changes live.
